Behind every successful man is a strong woman, and for Shawn, that's Erin, lovingly known as Mrs. Murder Nova. Erin plays a pivotal role in the daily operations at 187 Customs. Her enthusiasm for racing is matched only by her love for baseball, especially when cheering for their son, Aiden. Her ever-present smile and warm demeanor make her a beloved figure among the crew and fans alike.
Phantom, the multifaceted Crew Chief of 187 Customs, wears many hats with aplomb. His primary passion lies in overseeing the Murder Nova's performance, ensuring it remains at peak condition for every race. Equally passionate about content creation, Phantom is the driving force behind the engaging videos on the 187 Customs YouTube channel. In his spare time, he indulges in working on and racing his own vehicle, the "Shop Truck," a 2001 GMC Sierra. A man of diverse interests, Phantom also harbors a notable shoe addiction.
Aiden, the next generation of the Ellington legacy, is currently in his senior year of high school. Balancing academics with athletics, he actively participates in basketball and baseball. Beyond sports, Aiden is channeling his automotive heritage into building an LS-swapped, Procharged 1972 Chevelle, signaling a promising future in racing.
Mallory, often recognized as Phantom's better half, spearheads Social Media and Marketing for 187 Customs. With a keen eye for detail, she is also known for her drag racing photography under the moniker "Mallory Elizabeth Photography." Hailing from New York City, Mallory's artistic roots run deep; she studied Musical Theatre and has graced numerous stage productions. Her diverse background enriches the creative endeavors of the crew.
Richard, Shawn's father, brings over four decades of experience in paint and bodywork to the team. When not playing softball, he can be found in his body shop, meticulously restoring cars for 187 Customs and other clients. His expertise and dedication have been instrumental in shaping the team's automotive pursuits.
Dalton, an emerging talent in the automotive world, possesses an unwavering passion for cars and drag racing. His hands-on approach is evident as he works on and races his own LS-swapped, Procharged 1964 Falcon, showcasing his commitment to the craft.
Billy, Shawn's cousin from Belleview, Florida, shares a deep-rooted love for cars and racing. Their shared experiences date back to their childhood in California. Today, Billy manages a family-run Appliance Delivery & Installation business. His dedication to family and racing has made him a valuable member of the 187 Crew for the past two seasons.
